Jan 01, 2012 The latest island on Poptropica is called S.O.S. In this new quest on Poptropica, a whale-watching expedition strikes an iceberg and begins to sink. You need to rescue everyone on board the ship before it sinks into the frigid waters of the North Atlantic. The island became available for members on Thursday, January 26.
Poptropica, a virtual world for kids to travel, play games, compete in head-to-head competition, and communicate safely. Kids can also read books, comics, and see movie clips while they play.

1Virus Hunter
When I first started virus hunter, the game was actually quite good. The plot was engaging and mysterious which was why I had liked it so much. But when I reached the body, I gave up on the island. The game was just to hard to complete and kept on dying no matter how many times I regenerated.
Virus hunter as an island isn't bad. But because of the final boss in the bonus quest, I couldn't eat fish for a week. It grossed me out quite a bit. I'm not really a fan of games where you go inside someone's body, so I got my sister to complete it for me. But I watched a video walk-through, so that's how I know about it.
It had a great start! That is till you get into the stupid body.
I love this island :(

It is so weird how the plot twisted. I almost didn't like how the whole alien thing got put into play. and some of the mini quests were lowkey hard

EXCUSE ME, this island is really fun just a little annoying, and the fight with Zeus isn't too hard if you kknow what to do. It's actually a really fun island if you know how to play it. At first glance, it's kind of hard but once you get to know it only SOME parts are hard. P.S. this may only be because I watched walkthroughs and did it but thanks Thinknoodles. You helped me on this..

The paper whiteness that dominated the island's color scheme is so drab. I get that they were making it a Wimpy Diary, but unless you love those books, I don't think you'll appreciate this island.
So long and boring. It is not even that interesting, all of it is just simpler and more boring versions of the other islands! So slow and there is barely any action.
I hated having to do Binary Bard's dream! Mind you though..He wasn't easy to defeat in Astro-Knight.13Survival

There are now 39 official “islands” in Poptropica, with Survival and Mission Atlantis starting a new trend of episodic adventures, where we play a short episode or chapter of an island right away rather than wait for the full island to be developed. But there’s another trend forming: the lack of the word “island” on the official names of these quests.
It used to be that every Poptropica quest ended in the word, “Island” and it’s become almost commonplace to refer to these quests as islands — that’s reinforced by Poptropica’s use of the map to navigate from adventure to adventure, with each one represented as a separate island on the map. That part hasn’t changed, but if you take a peek at the official list (known as the “island tour”) on the Poptropica home page, you’ll notice that the term is falling a little out of fashion.
With the important exception of Early Poptropica, the very first quest in the game, most of the early adventures were called “Island.” In fact the next nineteen all carry that term. Mystery Train, the 20th adventure on Poptropica, was the next to not use the island designation. After that, Twisted Thicket, Poptropolis Games, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wimpy Boardwalk, and Lunar Colony all released without the word “Island” in their official names. In some cases, that makes sense, because many of these don’t take place on an island (Poptropolis being a huge exception!) There was a brief return to the use of the term starting with Super Villain Island and going through Virus Hunter Island, but the last four quests (Mocktropica, Monster Carnival, Survival, and Mission Atlantis) all do not have the word Island (at least not on the official list on the Poptropica Web Site).
